Adverb of Reason
Adverb of Reason explains why certain action takes place. Adverb of reason commonly occurs in the form of a clause which is preceded by conjunctive adverbs such as because, since, as, for, that, etc.
Use in sentences:
- I study hard because I want to pass the test.
- She didn’t go to work yesterday since she was ill.
- John doesn’t want to come here again as he is disappointed with the service.
- He decides to leave her for he doesn’t love her anymore.
- I’m happy that you like my cake.
